We are excited to present the twenty-fifth edition (January-June 2025) of Verbum et Lingua: Didáctica, lengua y cultura, now published continuously. This issue features articles by authors from both Mexico and abroad, written in Spanish and English, and covers a wide range of topics in linguistics, didactics, and cultural studies.

The first article, “Spanish in the United States: Part 2—Educational Perspectives,” by Drs. Manuel J. Gutiérrez and Marta Fairclough from the University of Houston explore pedagogical efforts in teaching Spanish as a heritage language in the U.S., highlighting promising results for its future.
