Abstract

In this article, the author uses a quantitative approach to analyze the correspondence between the results of the oral tests of two standardized German certifications with international recognition: the ÖSD Zertifikat A2 and the Oral Proficiency Interview by Computer (OPIc). Based on the test-analysis criteria proposed by Bachman and Palmer (1996), this work conceives an equation that allows creating a regression model that predicts the performance of any candidate in one of these oral tests based on the results previously obtained in any of them.
