𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑐𝑒𝑝ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑢𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑛𝑧𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑧𝑖. sp. nov., from Ixtlahuacán, Colima is described and illustrated; it is compared with 𝐷. 𝑤𝑖𝑡𝑡𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑖 Zaragoza-Caballero, 1986 for being a close species. New statal record is presented for 𝐷. 𝑙𝑒𝑜𝑛𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑒 Zaragoza-Caballero, 1986. Aspectsabout the distribution of the genus Distremocephalus in Mexico are commented.References
