Se presenta una lista de las especies de Scarabaeoidea conocidas para Jalisco. De las 10 familia citadas para México, seis tienen representantes en el Estado de Jalisco determinados a nivel de especie. La familia Ochodaeidae se ha registrado con ejemplares determinados sólo a nivel de gpenero. Para Jalisco se registraron 310 especies pertenecientes a 90 géneros. Se incluye una lista comentada con datos de distribución por municipio y localidad, provincia fisiográfica, tipo de vegetación y categoría de relevancia. Del total de especies conocido, 166 especies con 14 subespecies son endémicas de México, de las cuales 23 especies con dos subespecies son endémicas para Jalisco. Las provincias con mayor número de especies son el Eje Neovolcánico y la Sierra Madre del Sur, Se registran para Jalisco por primera vez a 17 especies, mientras que 21 requieren confirmación sobre su presencia en el estado. Cuatro especies son introducidas: Hybosorus illigeri, Euoniticellus intermedius, Digitonthophagus gazella y Aphodius lividus.Downloads
