Abstract

Se describen siete especies nuevas del género Photinus procedentes del Estado de Morelos, México. Estas especies son: Photinus pararuficollis sp. nov: ph. amoenoides sp. nov.; Ph toleido sp. nov. Ph. moralesae sp. nov.; Ph saniphallos sp. nov.; Ph morelosensis sp. nov. y Ph furcatus sp. nov. El reconocimiento de las especies se hizo con base en la conformación del aparato reproductor masculino. Se proporciona un listado preliminar de las especies de la familia Lampyridae.
