Abstract

Se proporciona una clave ilustrada de etapas correlacionadas para las familias del orden Ephemeroptera que ocurren en México. Se tratan dos subórdenes, seis superfamilias y 11 familias, incluyendo Baetidae. Se incluye además, información diagnóstica de campo y laboratorio para cada familia y se revisa la composición faunística y distribución de cada familia. Muchos géneros de los efemerópteros mexicanos se pueden distinguir con el uso de las ilustraciones proporcionadas.
