Sobre el régimen alimenticio de <em>Sisyphus schaefferi</em> (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Sisyphini)

Se ha analizado el espectro trófico de una población del escarabajo rodador Sisyphus schaefferi, una especie en fuerte aumento en el área de estudio, una serranía del Noroeste de Italia. Las observaciones de campo y un estudio experimental demuestran por primera vez en un Sisyphini la existencia de la micetofagia, aun limitada a las Boletáceas. Se incluyen algunas reflexiones acerca de las relaciones del cambio climático y del reemplazo de las fuentes alimenticias con el gran incremento demográfico de esta especie.References
