Se describe Plateros imeldae nueva especie procedente del estado de Hidalgo, México. En atención a la coloración rojiza de los élitros, es una especie que se ubica en el grupo ochraceus. Representa la primera especie registrada de ese género para el estado de Hidalgo. La forma del edeago la segrega de otras especies conocidas. Se presentan habitus en vista dorsal y lateral, vista ventral de la cabeza y del edeago, así como la vista dorso-lateral del aparato reproductor femenino.References
