Fauna de Curculionidae (Coleoptera) en huertas de aguacate Hass (Persea americana Mill) en Xalisco, Nayarit

Se realizó un estudio para conocer los Curculionidae asociados al cultivo de aguacate en Xalisco, Nayarit. Se utilizaron cuatro métodos demuestreo: red entomológica, asperjado de follaje, manta y disección de ramas. Se recolectaron 193 adultos de Curculionidae. Se identificaron11 subfamilias, 32 géneros (cuatro no determinados) y 15 especies. Scolytinae y Curculioninae las subfamilias de mayor diversidad genéricacon nueve y seis respectivamente. Pentarthrum, es nuevo registro para México, mientras que Phyrdenus divergens, Laemosaccus maculatus,Heilipus albopictus Cnesinus myelitis, Xylechinus mexicanus y Xyleborus squamulatus son nuevos registros para el estado de Nayarit. Copturusaguacatae y Heilipus albopictus son considerados de importancia económica para el cultivo de aguacate. Aunque, Hypothenemus hampei yEuplatypus segnis son especies muy conocidas y de importancia económica en el cultivo de café y nogal respectivamente.Downloads
