Se presentan los patrones biogeográficos de las hormigas que habitan la península de Baja California y Sonora obtenidos mediante un análisis de parsimonia de endemismos. Se elaboró un mapa de distribución geográfica de las hormigas y se generó una matriz de datos de presencia/ausencia. Se obtuvieron dos clados que representan a la península y al continente. Se reconocieron dos áreas de endemismo, una para el continente y otra para la península, además de otras dos áreas menos inclusivas dentro de la península. Se espera que con la generación de inventarios más completos se puedan reconocer patrones de endemismo a menores escalas y generen conocimiento básico para el estudio de las hormigas y robustecer las hipótesis biogeográficas de dichos organismos.Downloads
