Las escamas suaves del género Coccus (Hemiptera: Coccidae) tienen importancia como plagas en cítricos y otros cultivos en todo el mundo. Se tomaron muestras de ramitas y hojas de cítricos infestadas con escamas suaves en cinco estados de la República Mexicana y se obtuvieron cuatro especies de parasitoides de dos familias de Hymenoptera (Aphelinidae y Encyrtidae). La literatura incluye otras once especies, con lo que el total es de 15 especies parasíticas de Coccus en México. Se presenta una clave taxonómica para las especies de Coccophagus (Aphelinidae) y Metaphycus (Encyrtidae), así como una reseña de cada especie de parasitoide.Downloads
