Curculionoidea recolectados en necrotrampas

En estre trabajo se dan a conocer las especies Curculionoidea que se capturaron al instalar necrotrampas para estudiar a otros insectos. Aún cuando en estudios anteriores, se había notificado la captura de curculiónidos, no se dieron a conocer los géneros, ni las especies capturadas. Esta es la primera noticia en donde se registra la atracción por materia en descomposición de algunas especies de Curculionoidea. A pesar de ser pocos los ejemplares capturados (55), la variedad es notoria; tres familias: (brentidae, Rhynchophoridae y Curculionidae) con 14 géneros y 22 especies, todos ellos con hábitos fitófagos. Puede ser que alguno, o algunos compuestos liberados del material utilizado como cebo sean factor de atracción, o que ésta se deba la líquido conservador que se coloca en las trampas.Downloads
