HYMENOPTERA: Revisión de las especies de Neralsia de Centroamérica y las Antillas, con la descripción de once especies nuevas (Hymenoptera: Cynipoidea: Figitidae: Figitinae)

En Centroamérica y las Antillas las siguientes especies de Neralsia Cameron, 1883, han sido mencionadas: N. aperta (Kieffer, 1907), N. evanescens (Kieffer, 1907), N. rufipes Cameron, 1883, N. bifoveolata (Cresson, 1865) y Neralsia incompleta Jiménez & Pujade-Villar, 2006. Neralsia bifoveolata está destruida y es considerada como “dubida species”. Neralsia incompleta y N. evanescens son propuestas como nuevas sinonimias de N. rufipes n. comb. El nombre válido de N. rufipes [non N. rufipes (Cresson)] es N. cameroni Kieffer, 1901. Neralsia aperta y N. scutellata Jiménez & Pujade-Villar, 2005, han de ser consideradas como nuevas sinonimias de N. cameroni. En este estudio se describen para América Central y Las Antillas las siguientes especies: N. acostullata Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. diazae Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. gibbosa Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. insularis Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. julii Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. mireiae Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. hansoni Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. palmirae Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. spinosa Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp., N. titanica Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp. y N. vitreus Jiménez & Pujade-Villar n. sp. Se mencionan las diferencias morfológicas más importantes que permite separarlas y se redacta una clave que permitirá separar las especies colectadas. Así mismo se confirma la presencia de Neralsia fossulata Kieffer 1909, conocido parasitoide de Dípteros Ciclorrafos en Brasil y Argentina.Published
