COLLEMBOLA: Primer estudio de colémbolos (Hexapoda: Collembola) de La Hoya de las Guaguas, en el estado de San Luis Potosí, México

Se dan a conocer los primeros registros de colémbolos para la Hoya de las Guaguas, San Luis Potosí, así como nuevos registros para elEstado. Se contabilizaron un total de 130 ejemplares correspondientes a 21 especies, 20 géneros y nueve familias, procedentes de hojarasca con suelo superficial de dos muestreos (Noviembre 1999 y Diciembre 2006). Las especies mejor representadas son Folsomides centralis (Isotomidae) y Ceratophysella ca. armata (Hypogastruridae). Folsomina onychiurina e Isotomiella minor (Isotomidae), son dos especies que a pesar de ser citadas como troglófilas, también se pueden encontrar en otros ambientes externos, como hojarasca, suelo, guano, tronco en descomposición y detritus fuera de la cueva. La cantidad de especies registradas representan un 66% del total de las conocidas para San Luis Potosí y el 7 % con relación a lo que se conoce en el país. Se proporciona información sobre los biotopos en los cuales se ha colectado cada especie.Published
